Today I’m very excited to share a new project with you all. Over the past few years myself and my good friend @rockyoreilly have been making a collection of songs called The Future in the Seventies. We thought today seemed as good a day as any to float one these songs out into the world for you all to hear. We’ve collaborated with some of our favourite musicians and with some of our favourite visual artists and we’re extremely excited to share it all with you over the next few months, but for now here a songs called The Blinding, available on all streaming and digital devices or on the link in my bio. The Seed of the New Society Exhibition. An installation in Songwon Arts Centre helping with the understanding of hydrogen cell energy. One piece used a material called Vantoblack fabric which absorbs 99% of all light, felt like you were standing in a tear in the fabric of the universe! Great exhibition.

Flights cancelled and stranded in Osaka on account of the typhoon, but confident we’ll make it to Sydney in time for the first Australian show. In the meantime I’m gonna eat my weight in Okonomiyaki! Photo taken just before the rain started.

Had an unexpected day off after yesterday’s typhoon in Osaka so got to make the trip out to Kyoto with @catalancatalancatalan and @chriswee33 .Had our minds blown by the Higashihonganji Temple, the imperial palace, the sickest food and drink spots and Nishiki Market. Still tripping balls after the 1300 yen matcha tea i just had in Ippodo Tea Room! Thanks for the recommendations @pmcadams @dan_finnegan_

Wet wet nights in Tokyo. A day of VR headsets, late night whiskys in Shinjuku and long slurps over giant bowls of tonkotsu ramen. Always a special time here in Tokyo. Thanks @smash_jpn for having us over.

The film myself and Niall composed the score for is out in cinemas in the US now and will be out in Europe later in the year. The Cured stars the amazing Ellen Page, Sam Keeley and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and was directed by the wonderful David Freyne. I’m absolutely thrilled to have been a part of this amazing project and so excited to do more work like this. Huge congrats and thanks to all involved. I’m delighted to say the Original Motion Picture sound track is being released by Lakeshore Records home to some of my favourite scores and who have just released Jonny Greenwoods incredible Oscar nominated soundtrack for Phantom Thread, more news on where you can hear/purchase the album coming this week.
