New, live and emerging music will also be celebrated with further BBC and independently run events, with this element of the Biggest Weekend Fringe open to any UK music venue, promoter or organiser to get involved with - details here.

In addition, on Saturday 21st April the BBC is hosting an employability event for young people, providing digital, creative and employability skills, and an opportunity to apply for several work experience placements at the Biggest Weekend festival site. The event for 16-24 year olds is open for registration now and will run in The Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast.
